Cavani to snub Liverpool for Atletico

Liverpool are reportedly eyeing up a move for PSG forward Edinson Cavani, but could be beaten by Atletico Madrid.
The Ligue 1 champions have claimed that the Uruguayan will be staying at the club and have identified him as the perfect man to take over from Zlatan Ibrahimovic as their hitman, with the Swede leaving the club this summer.
However, the 29-year-old appears to be looking for an exit, and has identified Champions League finalists Atletico Madrid as a preferred destination.
With Christian Benteke failing to find his feet at Anfield, and Daniel Sturridge constantly struggling for fitness, Jurgen Klopp is looking for a star striker this summer, and Cavani is nearing the top of his list.
It looks like the German will have to work his magic, and probably splash the cash if they are to beat their Spanish counterpart in securing the players services.
