Bruna Marquezine and Neymar put an end to their relationship

Marquezine, famous in Brazil for her participation in several soap operas, pointed out that the break-up did not occur for political reasons, as had been suggested through social networks.

"I just want to clarify that point because we are in a very critical and dangerous time, a time of much hatred and, no, the end has nothing to do with that," said the model, in reference to Brazil's electoral process.

The Brazilian expressed her "respect" and "affection" for Neymar, with whom she resumed her relationship at the end of last year after a break-up in mid-2017.

Social networks were filled with speculation about the break-up during the last week, after Marquezine appeared in a few photos on the exclusive island of Fernando de Noronha without the footballer. 

The PSG forward and Marquezine first began dating in 2013, when Neymar was still playing for Santos, but in recent years they have broken up several times.​
