Boca Juniors believe that they can tempt the Manchester United stopper to move back to his native Argentina, as the 'keeper is currently behind David De Gea at Old Trafford.
As the Argentinian is behind one of the best goalkeepers in the world, Romero would probably be open to a move.
However, as United have recently loaned out fellow goalkeeper Sam Johnstone to Aston Villa, Jose Mourinho will not consider the sale of another goalkeeper in the January transfer window.
This therefore means that Romero will most probably stay until the end of the season before being allowed to leave Old Trafford.
