Benzema and Courtois left out for Getafe game

Carlo Ancelotti spoke to the press before the match against Quique Sanchez Flores' side and he said that he was not ruling out the possibility of Benzema playing, despite suggesting that he might rest him. He ended up opting for the latter. 

The club then revealed the squad list for the Getafe game, in which Benzema's name did not feature. The manager would prefer to keep him fresh for the game against Shakhtar and therefore better prepared for 'El Clásico'.

Thibaut Courtois did not feature in the squad either, after the keeper suffered a back injury which has him sidelined. Dani Ceballos, who has a thigh problem, is another one of the players out for Ancelotti ahead of the clash with Getafe. 

Here is the complete squad: Lunin, Luis Lopez, Canizares, Carvajal, Militao, Camavinga, Valverde, Lucas Vazquez, Tchouameni, Hazard, Asensio, Vinicius, Rodrygo and Mariano.
