Ben White is closer to Arsenal: he will undergo a medical on Wednesday

Arsenal have been negotiating the transfer of Ben White with Brighton for several weeks and it looks like the two clubs will soon reach an agreement. The player will become a new member of the Gunners squad.

According to 'Sky Sports', the centre-back is expected to undergo the medical before signing a new contract on Wednesday.

In this case, the deal could be completed in the next few days and Brighton would receive a fee of around 55 million euros.

Ben White is under contract with Brighton until 2024 and made 39 appearances last season, all of them starts, after shining at Leeds United.
