"Beckham was arguing every other week and he had to go to RM"

David Beckham's departure from Manchester United to Real Madrid in 2003 was quite surprising. The English player was an Old Trafford legend and people thought he was never going to leave the Premier League side. That did not prove to be the case though.
Ryan Giggs, another Man Utd legend and Beckham's teammate, explained why Beckham left on 'BeIN Sports': "It was getting too much, where he was arguing every other week really and it was just time for both parties to move."
The Welshman said Alex Ferguson always knew how to deal with difficult players: I fell out with him plenty of times. I mean the amount of times I would say over my career, six or seven times where it was a couple of weeks' wages I was fined for talking back, for having an argument."
"It's not always easy hearing that you've done nothing in a match. He actually, later in his career, he told me he liked that, it meant that you cared," Giggs concluded.
