Bayern Munich's Kimmich rejects Barcelona offer

Joshua Kimmich's contract with Bayern Munich expires next year and he is not closing doors for the future. That is where Barcelona, one of his main suitors, comes in. For months now, the possible signing of the midfielder under Thomas Tuchel, who leaves the german side on June 30th, has been mentioned in the Catalan press, which, on Monday, reports that he has rejected a first approach from the Catalan giants.

'Sport' reports that the German's salary is around 20 million euros per season, a figure that is too high for the Catalan side to meet. Moreover, their moves in the transfer market are subject to the club being able to stick to the recurring 1:1 rule.
