Bayern considered Joao Felix as Lewandowski's replacement

Bayern are asking for 50 million for Lewandowski. Barça are interested in the Pole, but so far, the 'Cules' have refused to raise their offer above 40 million euros. The striker hopes that the German club will give in and thus fulfil his dream of becoming a Barça player.

Despite the fact that Bayern have publicly pointed out repeatedly the end date of Lewandowski's contract, who is tied to the club until 2023, the truth is that they have made moves in the market to try to find a replacement for him. 'Sport Bild' reports that Joao Felix has been on the Bavarian agenda.

According to this source, Bayern asked Atletico directly about the situation of their striker. The 'Colchonero' club did not have to think about it too much: they told the Germans that the Portuguese is not for sale. 

With Atletico's rejection, Bayern had no choice but to remove Joao Felix from their list of possible replacements for Robert Lewandowski. At the Allianz Arena they saw the Atletico player with the potential to lead their attack, although his numbers are quite far from those of the Polish '9'.
