Bayern Munich decided to re-do the Allianz Arena's pitch during the World Cup break, and it will be the Women's team who will have the honour of inaugurating it. On a more important note, Jonatan Giraldez will look to qualify for the last-16 of the Champions League in Germany in the last group-stage game.

Barcelona womens are on the edge of getting through to the Champions League last-16 again. Jonatan Giraldez' side will play their fourth game in the Allianz Arena against a Bayern side who are looking for top spot.

The Bavarians will have the chance to go up against the Catalonians on a completely fresh pitch. According to 'Bild', the German side confirmed that the grass will be in perfect condition for the duel on the 7th December.

The German side's board have made the most of the World Cup break to restore the stadium and it will be the women's side who will have the privilege of being the first to tread on the new pitch.

Bayern are to try and get a full house to give the side more support, and most importantly, to give the home crowd something to cheer about after the tough 3-0 loss at the Camp Nou.
