Barcelona trust in the 'Xavi effect' to convince Dembele to stay

The final days of June are going to be frantic at the Camp Nou, during which the lever on the sale of 10% of the club's television rights for next 25 years will be pulled. This will provide a cash injection of 210 million euros for the club.
As well as this, Barcelona have a number of open cases to deal with. One of which is Ousmane Dembele's renewal saga. The player is still yet to decide on whether or not he wants to leave.
According to 'Sport', the Catalan club want to pressure Dembele into making a decision before 30th June. This is so that the board can start flexing their muscles in the market.
However, Barca still trust that they have a trick up their sleeve which will convince Dembele to stay. The offer of his salary, which 'El Mosquito' considers to be insufficient, is not going to change, despite the Frenchman's efforts.
Dembele wants to continue at Barcelona but not at all costs. Xavi Hernandez could prove key in convincing him to stay. He may even be meeting him face to face in the coming days, after the winger returns from his holiday, to talk over the best option for him.
The Frenchman has also lost popularity in the transfer market. PSG have not pursued him any further in recent weeks and Chelsea are not prepared to meet his economic demands. For Barca, his renewal would mean they can forget about spending their precious money on Raphinha from Leeds United, who would come at a cost of at least 50 million euros.
