Barcelona to distance themselves from Ronaldinho

The Brazilian, who played for Barcelona for five seasons, has stated his support for Bolsonaro ahead of the Brazilian presidential election.

Bolsonaro has expressed racist and misogynistic views throughout his political career, as well as calling for poor people to be sterilized.

Barcelona will not publicly denounce Ronaldinho, according to Spanish publication 'Sport', but they will distance themselves from the ex-player.

They have decided to reduce Ronaldinho's presence in institutional events, sponsor events and Legends games. 

Rivaldo, who has also stated his support for Bolsonaro, will also see his involvement in such events limited.
