"Aleix Vidal is a Barcelona player and the club aren't in a rush to sell it's footballers", the agent told 'TMV'.
However, Battistini did acknowledge that there have been contact and talks with several clubs, with rumours that former club Sevilla and Serie A team Roma are particularly interested, but did not want to give them too much importance.
"It is difficult to distinguish between contact and negotiations. There have been talks, but nothing serious. Monchi (Roma's current director of football) is certainly a fan of the lad, but at the moment he is more focused on other targets".
"It's a situation that I don't think will go forward because it hardly exists now".
Although it looks like Vidal will stay at the Camp Nou for the rest of the season, when asked about the player's future after June, the Italian was very coy: "It's difficult to make predictions in football".
The 28-year-old has only made 43 appearances in three years for the Catalan club since joining from Sevilla in 2015.
