"Barca won't be able to sign this summer"

New words from Javier Tebas are worrying Barcelona. The La Liga president stated that Barcelona's financial situation prevents them from being able to make short-term signings.
"I am already announcing, and president Laporta will call me angry, but it is practically impossible for Barcelona to sign players this summer," said Tebas at the 'Business of Football Summit' of the 'Financial Times'.
Tebas warned Barcelona about what will happen in the future: "A lot will have to change, otherwise the institution will be in trouble.
"Barcelona have not been allowed to sign players this winter, and next summer they will not be able to sign players," added La Liga's top representative.
In addition, Tebas spoke of the famous economic levers: "Barca have activated levers in the summer for 5% of their turnover. But this could be a problem for other clubs. We have acted and self-regulated quickly. Nobody can activate levers that amount to 5% of the turnover".
