An unbelievable feat. Messi has won his 6th Ballon d'Or. A terrific 2019 for him and he has been crowned the best player in the world once again!!!

Rapinoe female Ballon d'Or winner!!!!

What a year for Megan Rapinoe. Not only has she won the Women's World Cup and the FIFA 'Best' award, but she has now won the female Ballon d'Or.

The Liverpool goalkeeper has been announced as the 7th best player in the world.

The Liverpool goalkeeper has capped off a great year in which he won FIFA's 'Best' goalkeeper and the Champions League.

This award is given out to the best goalkeepers and is named after legendary goalkeeper Lev Yashin. Robert Lewandowski is giving it out. Who is going to win it?

Polish goalscoring machine has reaped the rewards of his fine 2019 and has come in 8th place in the ranking.

Bernardo 9th!!!

Mahrez's teammate is officially the 9th best player in 2019.

Mahrez has just been announced in 10th place.

De Ligt Kopa Trophy winner!!!!!!!!!

Matthijs De Ligt has won the Kopa Trophy. He had a fine season at Ajax and won a move to Juventus.

He is looking very smart in his shirt and tie. What position will he come tonight??

We now know the top 10. Frenkie De Jong in 11th!!

We are agonisingly close to finding out the top 10. The Englishman is 12th on the list and has had a great year for both club and country.

Next up on the list is another Belgian. He moved to Real Madrid in the summer from Chelsea.

De Bruyne in 14th!!!

The Belgian is 14th on the list. He has had a great year.

15th-De Ligt!!!

His heroics at Ajax earned him a move to Juventus.

Aguero in 16th position!!

Aguero is in 16th place. He helped his side win the Premier League in 18-19.

Messi is in Paris!!!!!

Messi is now in Paris. Will he be winning his 6th Ballon d'Or tonight?

Roberto Firmino is 17th

Another Liverpool player on the list. The Brazilian is the 18th best player in the world.

Griezmann number 18!!!!

His fine form for Atlético was rewarded with a move to Barcelona.

Alexander-Arnold 19th best player in the world!!!

The Liverpool RB has been named as the 19th best player in the world. He was also key in Liverpool's Champions League win.

Tadic and Aubameyang 20th best players in the world!!!

Tadic was instrumental in Ajax's run to the Champions League semi-final last season. Aubameyang is Arsenal's top scorer this season.

Son Heung-Min in 22nd!!!

The Spurs player has been announced as the 22nd best player in the world in 2019.

Lloris in 23rd!!!

Lloris has had a fine year until it was prematurely ended when he got injured against Brighton.

Koulibaly and Ter Stegen ranked 24th!!!

The first Barca player on the list. Ter Stegen has been named joint 24th best player alongside Napoli player Koulibaly.

Benzema and Wijnaldum in 26th spot!!!

Benzema and Wijnaldum are tied for 26th spot. Wijnaldum won the Champions League and Benzema has had a fine start to the season.

Felix, Marquinhos and Van de Beek in 28th place!!!

Felix, Marquinhos and Van de Beek are the first players to be announced. They are joint 28th.
