Leon Bailey is one of Bayern Leverkusen's brightest stars, but after four-and-a-half years in Germany he could be on his way to the Premier League.
Coming through the ranks at Genk, he moved to Leverkusen when he was still very young. It was here where he emerged, becoming one of the Bundesliga's best wingers. So much so that his worth has risen to around 30 million euros, but this hasn't put off his potential suitors.
According to the 'Daily Mail', Aston Villa are reportedly on his trail, and have even made the first contact in an attempt to bring in the Jamaican international.
There is no doubt that even the most modest club in the Premier League would be able to pay out a multi-million pound sum. However, the 30 that Leverkusen are asking for - which isn't linked with a release clause and therefore has the ability to be reduced - could be out of reach for the Birmingham side.
One way of financing this move would be, without a doubt, the sale of star man and club captain Jack Grealish. The England international would undoubtedly bring a triple-figure income into the club's accounts, and would likely only be available to the Premier League's biggest sides. It remains to be seen whether the two will part ways, however.
