Jose Mourinho's Tottenham needed just 40 minutes to leave basement boys Sheffield United in big trouble in the Premier League matchday 19 clash. The Blades were unable to stop a Spurs side who were playing very well. They scored two goals and it could have easily been three.
Aurier opened the scoring after just five minutes. He headed home a Son corner and that was just the start. Two minutes later, Son tried to chip Ramsdale, but the ball hit the post and then just before half-time, Kane made it 0-2.
Kane's goal came about after poor Blades defending. Norwood lost the ball, Kane had plenty of space to run into after a low pass by Hojbjerg. He had time to turn, lift his head and pick his spot in the far corner.
Although it is true that Sheffield United are bottom of the Premier League, Spurs played well in the first 40 minutes. Mourinho's men want to remain in the hunt for the title and they could well be in with a shout with more performances like this.
