Atletico turned down 100 million from Bayern Munich for Joao Felix!

14 matches played, just seven starts, no goals and three assists. They are Joao Felix's rather average stats so far in the 2022-23 season. 

His relationship with coach Diego Simeone is not the best right now and there is talk of him leaving in January. Last summer, the Portuguese could have gone to Munich, but Atletico decided to keep him. 

'Marca' reports that Bayern put 100 million euros on the table. Despite that unbelievable sum of money, Atletico said "no". Back then, the La Liga outfit thought this was going to be the Portuguese's season and they declined the offer without any hesitation. 

Bayern wanted him to occupy the position left by Robert Lewandowski. The Germans felt just having Mane was not enough and they showed interest in Joao Felix, a great player for the coming years.

A few months have passed since Atletico's rejection and things have changed at the Metropolitano. So much so that Atletico might even regret not having sold him for 100 million euros. 

According to the Spanish paper, Atletico's stance has varied a lot. Joao Felix is no longer untouchable and his future is up in the air. According to the latest information, Bayern are still interested in the attacker. It remains to be seen whether they go out to try and get him again in January given the tense relationship between Joao Felix and Simeone.
