These results gave Spain a first-place finish, ahead of Portugal in second, meaning that 'La Roja' face Russia next, while Portugal take on Uruguay.
However, when it came time to interview Spanish goalscorer Iago Aspas, one journalist made a mix-up, and the striker had to step in to make a correction.
When he was asked what he thought of his next opponent, Uruguay, he did a double take and corrected the journalist's mistake. "Portugal drew, no?" he replied. "I think we finish first, don't we? We're playing Russia."
