Arturo Vidal warns: he will leave if he feels unimportant

"I would like to be here forever, but I must be objective and live it day by day," said Arturo Vidal. He would love to play at the Camp Nou for the rest of his career, but not at any price.

The Chilean is made to be the protagonist. If Barça can't guarantee that, Arturo Vidal already plans a future away from Barcelona. "If in December or when the season ends, I don't feel that I'm important here, I'll have to look for a solution and broaden my horizons in order to become an important player again," he said categorically.

In this way, Arturo Vidal leaves the door open to his departure, but he's made sure to specify that the ball is in Barcelona's court. 

If Valverde gives him opportunities and feels that he can contribute to Barcelona, Vidal will continue to contribute to the midfield. If his role is going to be secondary, he won't hesitate to pack his bags and try his luck away from the Camp Nou.

Barcelona are yet to react to Vidal's statement, but according to the latest reports, the club do not want him to leave in the winter transfer market. Therefore, the player will have to prove himself worthy of a spot in Barcelona's line-up in what's left of the season.
