Arteta: 'bring your boots' as Arsenal prepare for PSG at the Emirates

Mikel Arteta has reiterated the crucial role Arsenal fans must play as the club prepares to face Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League semi-final first leg next week.
The manager urged the Emirates crowd to be fully involved, recalling the electric atmosphere during the 3-0 victory over Real Madrid in the previous round.
“The message is that they have to play every ball with us. So I would say bring your boots, your shinpads, your shorts, your T-shirts! And let's play on Tuesday night all together here to have one of the most amazing nights at the Emirates,” Arteta said.
Reflecting on the recent 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace, Arteta refused to blame the upcoming European fixture for the team’s performance. “I don't want to use that excuse. Today, we were simply not at the standards required to really be at our level to fill that gap between the two teams, and the game was always dead in the air.”
With no match this weekend, Arsenal have six days to recover and prepare for the PSG clash. Arteta emphasised the need for both mental and physical recovery. The manager concluded by stressing the significance of thorough preparation, aiming to ensure “an amazing night here on Tuesday night.”
