Arsenal scoop PL manager and player of the month

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta was named manager of the month for March and has won four Premier League awards this season. The Spaniard is just one behind Jurgen Klopp's record of five awards in the 2019-2020 season.

Arteta beat Aston Villa boss Unai Emery, Brighton & Hove Albion's Roberto de Zerbi and Manchester City's Pep Guardiola in the voting.

Arsenal won four games in March: against Bournemouth, Everton, Fulham and Crystal Palace, scoring 14 goals in total. The Gunners are still in the hunt for the Premier League title in 19 years and are eight points clear of Manchester City.

Bukayo Saka won the best player of March award after scoring three goals and providing two assists. The 21-year-old is the second Arsenal player to win the award this season after Martin Odegaard.
