Arsenal to face Man City test in Community Shield final: Date, kick-off time and TV coverage

In all countries with major European leagues, there is always an early season showdown called the Super Cup. But in the case of England, this type of tournament is not so much linked to something lucrative, but rather has charitable commitments. Thus, the name of a competition that functions like the Super Cup, but is called the Community Shield, was born.
A trophy that has been played for more than 110 years and whose game, a single match, pits the winners of the most important championships of the previous regular season: the FA Cup and the Premier League. In this active year 2023, it is already known when and who will play the Community Shield.
The two teams that will play in the Community Shield final are Arsenal and Manchester City. As the Sky Blues were the team that won the two major titles, then the Gunners have been selected for finishing second in both the FA Cup and the Premier League.
This first English Championship match of the season will be played on 6th August 2023 at 17:00 CEST at Wembley Stadium.
The game will be broadcast live on ITV, ITVX, STV and STV Player for viewers in the UK. The match will also be available on the DAZN pay-per-view platform.
