Arsenal and Madrid closer to reaching agreement on Odegaard

Mikel Arteta was delighted with the role Odegaard had at Arsenal last term. In fact, he never wanted the player to return to the Santiago Bernabeu.
But Real Madrid called him back. His loan deal ended and Odegaard returned to Spain.
After pre-season, Ancelotti has not got place for him. So, the Norwegian is looking for a new club and Arsenal have offered themselves as volunteers to get him again.
'AS' says that in the last few hours, Arsenal and Madrid have come closer to reaching a deal. This time, he would go to the Emirates Stadium for good.
The move could be completed shortly. Arsenal would pay Real Madrid just over 40 million pounds to keep Odegaard.
The footballer, according to the newspaper, is delighted with this. He has reportedly given his approval and he is waiting for his departure to be completed, something which could happen in the coming hours.
'AS' says that, despite all parties being willing to this, there are still certain aspects to negotiate. That is why there is still nothing official.
