Araujo suffered a small fracture to his cheekbone against Atletico

Ronald Araujo broke his cheekbone in La Liga clash against Atletico Madrid. The fracture is small, nothing serious, and will not prevent him from playing in Barcelona's next game, which will be against Girona in Montjuic.

The Uruguayan's injury was not revealed by a medical statement from his club, but by a report from 'Sport', which indicates that the defender's situation is a simple setback and that he will train normally this week. 

The Uruguayan defender has been key to Xavi Hernandez's side for yet another season, having made 13 official appearances so far, 10 of them starts, scoring a goal that earned the 'Cules' a late win against Real Sociedad. 

The Uruguay international will be key in what will be a tough challenge for the Catalan giants against Girona, who sit four points above them in second in the La Liga table.
