Ancelotti waiting for Modric, Valverde and Benzema's return

Real Madrid decided to take two days off after RB Leipzig's defeat (3-2) to rest for the next matches they will have to play.

Ancelotti's side will face Girona, Rayo Vallecano and Cadiz in the upcoming La Liga matches. Otherwise, they have to close the first place in their group against Celtic Glasgow in the Champions League.

All these encounters will be crucial to complete board's target: to reach the round of 16 as group winners and to stay top of La Liga rankings when the World Cup starts.

For that reason, the Madrid coach will need his best players. Fede Valverde, Modric and Benzema were out in the last meeting. Ancelotti will have to wait until 28th October in order to know if he could count on them.

Madrid will have to be cautious and they will not force any of the three players. The main Ancelotti's need is the striker Benzema because he is a key player for their attack. He does not only score, he also provides assists. In any case, the Italian coach will have to wait for the medical tests to know if Benzema will be available for the squad.
