Ancelotti 'not sure' about future as Real Madrid divorce looms

Carlo Ancelotti's future at Real Madrid has been at the centre of attention over the past weeks, but with the 'Merengues' now officially out of the Champions League quarter-finals, the situation is more critical than ever.
'Los Blancos' only have domestic glory to fight for, but sit four points behind leaders Barcelona in La Liga, and face the same Catalans in the Spanish Cup final on April 26 after being thrashed in their last two encounters.
Asked if he will continue with his position as head coach, Ancelotti said: "I will speak to the club, a decision will be made at the end of the season. For now, we continue to fight for titles. it is not right to talk about this right now."
The Italian put the questions regarding his next destination aside, focusing on Real Madrid's upcoming fixture against Athletic Club, as he equally insisted that the team cannot afford to dwell on the painful defeat against Arsenal.
"Congratulations to Athletic for reaching the Europa League semifinals," he said after the Basque side conquered their Europa League quarter-final tie against Scottish team Rangers by winning 2-0 on aggregate.
"We talked to the club and the players. We're all hurt after what happened. The Champions League is the most important competition. But this is football, you can't always win. The Copa de Rey final and La Liga are also important."
Ancelotti insisted he is satisfied with his players despite the recent disappointing results, adding that a club of Real Madrid's magnitude should not be questioned over a few stumbles." I want to thank all these players," he began.
"I had, and still have, a great time with these players. They gave me the chance to win two Champions Leagues in four years," he told reporters before he added: "Questioning a club that has won nearly 30 titles in the last decade seems misleading to me."
