In a press conference ahead of Napoli's trip to Frosinone on Sunday, the salary of head coach Carlo Ancelotti was once again on the agenda with Napoli struggling for form.
"My salary is being talked about in relation to our recent results, but it's something that is subjective", the Napoli coach has claimed after his side slumped to back-to-back defeats.
As well as being knocked out of the Europa League by Arsenal, the team from Naples sit 20 points behind champions Juventus in Serie A - a gap that many at the club will feel is far too big. Despite all this, boss Ancelotti insisted he is happy at the club and in the city.
"I don't understand the negativity around the team. Furthermore, the club knows perfectly well how much I earn - and it's not 36 million euros a year", the Italian manager finished by saying.
