Xhaka can overcome red card problem, says Wenger
Arsene Wenger believes that midfielder Granit Xhaka is able to overcome his red card problem, after receiving his eighth yellow card in two and a half years in Arsenal's victory over Swansea.
The Swiss midfielder received his first red card for Arsenal against the Swans, which became his eighth in the past three seasons. However, Wenger is confident that the 24-year-old can find a solution to his disciplinary issue.
"We are not responsible for the red cards he got somewhere else," the Arsenal manager said.
"He made a foul against Swansea which might have got him a yellow or a red card. It was not meant to hurt anybody.
"It was just a late tackle to stop a counter-attack. He has been punished. But he is intelligent enough to analyse that as well".
