Willian hints at rift with Conte
After appearing to fall down the pecking order at Chelsea, Willian hinted to a rift with Antonio Conte by cropping his manager out of his FA Cup celebratory picture on Instagram.
Earlier in the season, Willian was an integral part of Chelsea's midfield, culminating in a Man-of-the-Match peformance against Barcelona in the Champions League Round of 16 phase.
However, since then Tiemoue Bakayoko has been preferred in the starting XI, even featuring in Chelsea's 1-0 FA Cup victory over Manchester United on Saturday.
Willian had to settle for a 90th-minute substitute appearance instead, and took to social media after the game to hint at a strained relationship between himself and his boss.
The midfielder docked a picture of the Chelsea squad celebrating the achievement, adding three goal trophy emojis over the top of Conte's body, blocking him from sight.
This would back up Willians comments in an interview with 'ESPN Brazil'. When asked how happy he is with his manager, he replied: "Oh boy! Do you want me to tell you? Well, let's save it for the next interview".
