Manchester United striker Will Keane was forced out of the FA Cup clash with Shrewsbury Town after sustaining a groin injury. Manager Louis van Gaal has confirmed that he will be on the sidelines for a lengthy amount of time due to needing an operation.

Van Gaal's long list of injured players just keeps on growing.

Keane will soon have an operation for his groin injury and then he will be attending physiotherapy at the club.

Van Gaal also confirmed to the English press that Wayne Rooney does not need surgery.
