'When I came to Chelsea I didn't think I'd play 500 games'
Cesar Azpilicueta played his 500th game for Chelsea against Liverpool - a figure which the Spanish right-back did not expect to reach.
Cesar Azpilicueta is a true Chelsea legend. The Blue's player played his 500th game against Liverpool in the Stamford Bridge side's shirt.
"I'm really proud to have reached 500 games as a Blue. I've never paid attention to individual achievements, as the group has and always will be the force that drives me forward", the Chelsea right-back wrote.
Azpilicueta added that it was "a privilege to be part of a select group of legends who have left an eternal impact" at Chelsea.
Only five players have played more games for the London side than Azpilicueta: Ron Harris, Peter Bonetti, John Terry, Frank Lampard and John Hollins.
