Adil Rami has been in the news on 'RMC Sport' when asked about his football shirts. The central defender referred to Messi and Ronaldo's shirts and said that if he sold them, he could even buy a villa in Los Angeles.
Rami now plays in Portugal after having been a World Cup winner and after a successful career, especially in Spain. He played for Valencia and Sevilla.
In an interview with 'RMC Sport', the defender has spoken about the times he asked for Cristiano Ronaldo and Messi's shirts.
"With all the shirts Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo gave me, I could have bought myself a villa in Los Angeles. I remember that the first time I played against Cristiano, he accepted without problemas," he said.
On the second time, Rami said that Cristiano once again gave him his shirt without any problem. In fact, on the odd occasion, the Portuguese just gave him his shirt.
"The second time I asked him once again and he gave it me without any problems. He also took mine. I asked for his shirt during the game, he laughed and he asked me how many I had,. Even so, he accepted. In the end, I didn't even ask him. I would see him leave for the dressing room when he was very angry and suddenly he'd call me, come over, we'd swap shirts and he'd wish me good luck. It was a nice gesture," Rami concluded.
