According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, West Ham have already agreed a deal with Manchester United to sign Harry Maguire this summer. The Hammers will pay £30 million for his transfer.

Manchester United wanted to sell Harry Maguire this summer and it seems they have succeeded. According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, West Ham and Erik ten Hag's side have reached a pre-agreement for his transfer.

The centre-back has been playing the Red Devils for four seasons but his career with them could soon be over due to the blunders he made in the 2022/23 season.

The Hammers saw an initial £20 million bid turned away at the end of July and returned with an offer reported to be £30 million. The same journalist reports that both parties still have to discuss the personal terms.

Under contract at Old Trafford until 2025, Maguire was told earlier this year by England manager Gareth Southgate, following Euro 2024 qualifying games, that his position in the national team may not be guaranteed if he can't get more regular playing time, something a move to West Ham would likely offer.
