Timo Werner started against Real Madrid in the Champions League semi-final second leg. The striker was one of those who was under the spotlight from Chelsea fans after missing clear chances in the first leg.
But, on this occasion, he scored with his first opportunity. The German received a great pass from Chilwell, who was all on his own, from the right hand side and scored with a first time shot, but the celebration was cut short.
The linesman raised his flag much to Werner's disappointment, but the linesman was right: The German was offside.
He could have waited a bit longer to not be offside, but he was too eager.
