Reports in England claim that West Bromwich Albion's board is considering the future of manager Tony Pulis following the 4-0 defeat to Chelsea on Saturday.

Goals from Alvaro Morata, Eden Hazard (2) and Marcos Alonso put the 'Baggies' to the sword, further ramping up the pressure on the Welsh boss.

West Brom are without a Premier League win since August and have won just two of their last 21 games, a run which has contributed to them mustering just 10 points from 12 games so far this season.

Tension was palpable in the stands at the Hawthorns during the game, with chants of 'Pulis out' coming from sections of the stands.

The club's owner, Guochuan Lai, was in attendance for the game and according to 'Sky Sports', he held discussions with chairman John Wiliams after the game to assess Pulis' future.

Speaking following the defeat, Pulis admitted that the powers that be are under pressure to do what is right for the club, saying:

"The big thing is, this is not about me, the chairman, the owners or anything like that, it's about the football club and what is the right decision for the football club.

"The club will be here long after I've gone, it's about doing the right thing for the football club. I've been in the game long enough to know if you get bad runs then that's what happens.

"They have to make a decision. I met with the Chinese owners on Friday night, they are wonderful people but I know, as well as everyone else, you have to get results, that's what it's about."
