Everton are in talks to acquire Watford winger Richarlison for a fee that could rise to £50 million.

The Brazilian winger was signed by Marco Silva last summer while he was manager of Watford, and went on to play all 38 games for the club in the Premier League, scoring 5 goals.

With the Portuguese manager now at Everton, he is looking to be re-united with the 21 year-old in what could be an incredibly large fee.

Everton's current record transfer was that of Gylfi Sigurdsson from Swansea City last summer, which cost £45 million.

The player has been capped at U-20 level by his country, and impressed at Vickarage Road for demonstrating immense pace and driblling ability. Should he sign for the club, it may put the future of Yannick Bolasie in to question.

The 'Toffees' have yet to make a signing in this transfer window, despite 5 players exiting the club.

Silva will want to act clearly to secure any targets that he may have, including Richarlison, as the transfer window will shut at an earlier point this year, on 9th August.
