Diego Simeone, the Atletico Madrid coach, had all his international players at his disposal ahead of the trip to Granada. Vitolo, Marcos Llorente and Hector Herrera look like they will play after having two training sessions this week.

Atletico will be without Saul Niguez or Thomas Partey, both serving a ban because of five yellow cards, Diego Costa (hernia), Stefan Savic who suffered a relapse of a muscle injury on Tuesday and Jose Maria Gimenez. After Thursday's training session, there is just one more on Friday prior to the match in Granada.

Vitolo will remain in attack after shining in his return to the starting XI against Espanyol, Alvaro Morata and Angel Correa. Morata has scored in each of his last six matches for Atletico while there will be changes in midfield to replace Saul and Thomas.

The Mexican Hector Herrera will start for the second game in a row and Marcos Llorente will do the same after three matches away from the starting XI. He has not started since the 1-1 draw at Alaves and he was subbed up at half-time in that game. That was one of his two starts so far.

Koke will once again be in midfield, while Renan Lodi will return to left-back. Felipe Monteiro and Mario Hermoso will be the centre backs, Kieran Trippier at right back and Jan Oblak is in goal.

Simeone has got 16 players the first team to make the squad. As well as the 11 starters, Joao Felix is back after being sidelined for six fixtures. He should be on the bench in Granada. Thomas Lemar, who is an alternative in the eleven at right back; Antonio Adan, Santiago Arias and Ivan Saponjic, although Saponjic does not usually figue in Simeone's plans. The Argentine will have to call up two youngsters from the B team.
