Florian Thauvin scored his first goal for Tigres as they beat Querétaro 3-0 in the Mexican league. André-Pierre Gignac, who is injured and was watching from behind the goal, celebrated it with passion.

Tigres faced Queretaro in a Mexican league match on Tuesday night.

Nicolas Lopez put the home side in the lead midway through the first half and the same player made it two in the 49th minute. Florian Thauvin, who joined the club from Marseille in the summer, sealed the points for Tigres 16 minutes from time. Queretaro's frustration got the better of them in added time when Jonathan dos Santos was dismissed. Take a look at pitchside football of Thauvin's goal from the game at the Estadio Universitario in the video above!

Tigres are 6th on eight points while Queretaro are 15th on three points.
