A small guest made an appearance during the opening minutes of the 2021-22 Russian Premier League matchday 3 clash between Akhmat Grozny and Sochi.

Akhmat Grozny took on Sochi in a Russian Premier League fixture on 2nd August.

A Daniil Utkin own goal put the away side ahead in the 26th minute and Marko Dugandzic added a second just before the hour mark. Gabriel Iancu pulled one back for Akhmat Groznuy in the 86th minute, but it was not enough as they lost 1-2. However, the game will be remembered for a funny incident that occurred early on.

After six minutes, the game was stopped after a snake was spotted inside one of the penalty areas. The groundsman had to get a large fork to pick up the snake from the pitch without using his hands. It was something that left everyone bewildered.
