Sergio Ramos now plays for PSG and he recently scored his first goal for his new team, but he will always have fond memories of his time at Real Madrid.
The 35 year-old was at the club for 16 years before leaving the Spanish capital in summer 2021. He won many trophies for the club and one of them was the Champions League. One of them was Madrid's 10th in their history, La Decima. After Godin had put Atletico ahead in the first half, Sergio Ramos levelled in the 93rd minute to force extra-time when Atleti were seconds away from victory. Bale, Marcelo and Ronaldo from the penalty spot then completed a 4-1 win after extra-time.
Sergio Ramos says that the equaliser against Atletico Madrid will always be the best goal of his life and you can listen to the Spaniard talk about that goal in the video above!
