In a match which saw Scott Carson make his first Premier League appearance in ten years, we were thrilled to a seven-goal thriller at St. James' Park. After Krafth's opener on 25 minutes, City turned it around just before half time with goals from Cancelo and Ferran in the space of three minutes. Late drama in the first half saw Joelinton equal from the spot, before the 'Magpies' took a shock lead through Willock after he followed up his penalty just after an hour. However, City turned the game on its head just four minutes later, thanks to two goals from Ferran who scored his first Premier League hatrick.
The Spaniard's performance raised the eyebrows of many and will surely earn him a place in City's next match against Brighton on Tuesday.
