The Brazilian put the reigning champions in front after 33 minutes thanks to a fine assist from Julian Draxler. Neymar then turned provider himself just before the hour mark, setting up Marquinhos who doubled PSG's advantage on 59 minutes. The Parisians survived a nervy finish after Ganago pulled one back for Lens two minutes later and Icardi missed a penalty for the hosts, holding on to a vital three points in the end.
With this result, PSG keep up the chase with current leage leaders Lille, with the Ligue 1 title looking to go down to the wire. Lens, meanwhile, look set to battle it out with Marseilles and Stade Rennais for the final Europa League spot, the three sides separated by just two points.
