West Ham manager David Moyes defended his decision to play Kurt Zouma during the club's 1-0 win over Watford but condemned the actions of his player.

West Ham hosted Watford in a Premier League match on Tuesday. 

Neither side were able to find a breakthrough in the first half at the London Stadium, however, that changed in the second period. In the 68th minute, Jarrod Bowen hit a deflected effort which beat Watford goalkeeper Ben Foster. The Hornets tried to find a leveller, but were unable to do so and remain in relegation trouble. Kurt Zouma started the contest despite footage of him abusing his cats was released by the media. After the game, West Ham manager David Moyes defended his decision to start the Frenchman and you can listen to his comments in the video above!

West Ham are 4th on 40 points while Watford are 19th on 15 points, three points off safety.
