The Ivorian international arrived from West Ham with just three goals in 16 Premier League matches to his name, with many in England regarding his career as a flop. Following his move to the Eredivisie, however, Haller dazzled, banging in eleven goals in 19 matches, alongside an impressive five assists.
His performances, amongst others, enabled Ajax to yet another league triumph. They finished the season first, a massive 16 points ahead of PSV in second.
