The Gunners found themselves ahead after just 35 minutes thanks to a Bukayo Saka goal, which ended up being enough to win the whole game, and take the three points back to North London. The young Englishman has played some 19 games this season in all competitions, scoring five goals on the way. His form has helped fire the Gunners to top of the league, posing a real threat to Manchester City who sit second after slipping up against Liverpool.
Next up for Arteta is a European outing against Dutch side PSV, before returning to domestic duties on Saturday against Southampton.
