A controversial last minute penalty for handball saw Bahia beat Botafogo 1-0 in the Brazilian league.
Bahia hosted Botafogo in a Brazilian league match last Sunday in Salvador.
The match at the Itaipava Fonte Nova Arena looked to be heading for a 0-0 draw until deep into stoppage time. Marcelo Benevenuto was penalised for handball and Bahia were awarded a penalty. The VAR asked the ref to have another look at the pitchside monitor but the on field official stuck with his decision to give a penalty. Rodriguinho converted the 99th minute penalty and Bahia won the match 1-0. Take a look at the highlights in the video above!
