One of the latest to land on English soil is Denmark's Joachim Andersen, who joined Crystal Palace from Olympique Lyon.
His new club announced it in a statement released through their official channels. In the statement, the Eagles welcomed the 25-year-old centre-back, who reached the semi-finals with his national team at the last Euros.
The defender also expressed his pride at the presentation, while thanking coach Patrick Vieira for his confidence: "They have given me great confidence, as they know my qualities, they believe in me and want me to play an important role in the team."
Crystal Palace's chairman Steve Parish also had words to say about his fourth signing: "We have added another highly rated defender to our squad, we are very pleased to welcome him."
