Check out Alfred Schreuder's first game in charge of Ajax as a Sontje Hansen double and a goal from Christian Rasmussen helped the side to a 3-0 friendly win over SV Meppen.

On 22nd June, Ajax announced their new head coach, Alfred Schreuder, after former manager, Erik ten Hag, left the club from the Dutch capital to manage Manchester United.

On Tuesday, Ajax's new boss lead his team for the first time since arriving at the club. The match was played at Sportpark Vondersweijde against SV Meppen. Ajax eased to a 3-0 victory with the goals coming from Christian Rasmussen and a Sontje Hansen brace. Take a look at how the events unfolded in the video here!

Ajax will play three further pre-season friendlies before kicking off their 2022/23 campaign against PSV in the Johan Cruijff Shield on 30th July.
