Gonzalo Escalante is considering a return to Spain for the second half of the season as he is not getting much playing time at Cremonese. The midfielder could join Valladolid on loan.

Midfielder Gonzalo Escalante went to Italy to try his luck at Lazio but left for Cremonese on loan.

The player is not getting playing time at the Italian club and would like to return to La Liga. In fact, there are two Spanish clubs interested in signing him.

Espanyol were keeping an eye on Escalante and negotiations seemed to be going well but, according to 'SkySports', Valladolid went ahead and improved the offer.

As a result, Escalante will play at Real Valladolid until the end of the season. In addition, the footballer has previously played in La Liga for Alaves and Eibar.
