UEFA don't intend to simply stand by and watch the creation of the Super League. 'Bloomberg' and 'RMC Sport' report that the organisation is working with an investment fund to create a budget of 4.5 billion euros, which could extend to 7 billion.

Football is at war between UEFA and the Super League. The creation of a new competition, outside of the international bodies, has created a schism between clubs and organisations.

'Bloomberg' have reported that the organisation run by Ceferin is already working with an investment fund to launch a counterattack against the Super League. Information later confirmed by 'RMC Sport'.

Thus, UEFA are preparing a counter-offer to all of the clubs. This new European competition supported by supranational bodies would have an initial budget of 4.5 billion euros.

This sum could increase to 7 billion euros, a larger budget than that of the Super League, quoted as being 3.5 million euros.

This new UEFA model, who on Monday presented the new version of the Champions League from 2024, will rely on the support of the biggest clubs that rejected the Super League, such as Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund or PSG.

In addition, any club that decides to leave the Super League could join this new competition. In England, there have already been talks of either Chelsea or Man City wanting to leave the Super League.

On Sunday, shockwaves were sent across the football world after the statements of the 12 clubs were released, revealing the creation of the Super League, going against UEFA, FIFA and the ECA, amongst others.

Many people have spoken out regarding the creation of this new competition, both for and against, including within teams that are responsible for creating the Super League.
